Melissa Turvey (Miss Missy) grew up dancing at Dance Inc. After graduating high school she went on to University of Kansas for two years until finding a home at Webster University. After training at Webster Miss Turvey graduated Honors with a BFA in Dance. Miss Turvey has danced and trained with many local teachers and choreographers such as Gary Hubler, Beckah Voight, Christine O'Neil Jen Medina and Stacey West. Post graduation she continued her studies in Prague under the direction of Lynn Barr but again St. Louis brought her home to dance for Mr. Cecil Slaughter, becoming an original member of the Slaughter Project for two wonderful years. For the past two years Miss Missy has been teaching in South Lake Tahoe for The Dance Workshop but is happy to once again be home where it all began...Dance Inc.
